On Tuesday morning, Class 2S performed an assembly to Class 2F and 2W. It has been a long time since they gave their last class assembly but the children rose to the challenge beautifully. They told the Bible story about the miracle of Jesus healing the Centurion’s servant. The Centurion displayed great faith in Jesus because he believed he would heal his servant without even coming to his house. Jesus was astonished at this and so rewarded his faith by healing the servant. Class 2S narrated and acted out the drama clearly and went on to explain what a miracle is. They left us thinking about miracles that happen around us every day, like the miracle of the earth spinning, the sun rising and setting, the beauty of creation and the love of our families and friends, which we can sometimes take for granted.
Well done Class 2S. You are all super stars!
