Year 1 had a wonderful curriculum enrichment day on Tuesday. The day began with footprints in the sand. The children painted a seascape background, drew around their feet and then stuck sand to their templates before adding them to their pictures. The children made their own colourful kites using origami skills and craft materials. In the afternoon, everybody took part in a seaside themed physical activity using the large parachutes. After that, they went on a trip to a bubble filled wonderland in Forest School! When they returned to their classrooms for a story, the children were greeted with a delicious ice cold tasty treat! Another fabulous day was had by all!
