Pre-Prep Sports Day 2021 was a day to remember! The rain held off and it was a BCS first for many of us. Despite having to change the layout of the day due to the situation we have found ourselves in over the last 16 months, it was a successful one with a lovely atmosphere, full of smiles and happy faces.
All the children were in high spirits, displaying some super class banners as they walked onto track side and they thoroughly enjoyed participating in the different activities, cheering each other on and displaying our British Values.
The children have been working hard to perfect their skills in the build up to the day and we saw some super performances. From keeping in the lines with Nursery to some slick relay changes from Yr 2, for the KS 1 class relay event, which took place on ‘practice day’. The children were awarded with a very prestigious Sports day sticker for their efforts.
Thank you to those of you that were able to come along and support the children and also to my colleagues for their help and support with the build up to the day and on the actual day. The running of sports day is a team effort and could not take place without the children, the staff and the parents.
Well done to all the children who competed and congratulations to 1V & 2F class relay winners.
