Mira in Year 5 has put together a presentation for an idea that she had for introducing Meat Free Mondays at Blue Coat. She went to speak to Mr Moss and Holroyd Howe Sustainability Manager Hannah Irvine. They were so impressed with Mira’s passion and ideas that they have decided to introduce one meat free Monday in the new 3-Week cycle of menus for September. Mira says “I believe Meat Free Mondays will help us to think about healthy eating a lot more but also at the same time will help us to do something great for our planet.”
