Congratulations to all of our Year 2 pupils who received their BCS Blue award this week! Year 1 pupils looked on in admiration as Year 2 pupils received their BCS Blue certificates from Mr Neeson in their final Thanksgiving Service. As the avid audience listened to personalised citations read aloud about each pupil, Year 2 pupils took to the stage to collect their certificates with pride.
Poetry, photographs, memories and musical interludes were shared during the service. Mr Neeson reminded the children of their amazing achievements so far and the importance of their commitment to The Blue Coat School Values and Mrs Andrews reminisced about their accomplishments whilst journeying through Pre-Prep. Chaplain was intrigued by Rocky’s dress sense, but soon realised that the stars on his outfit were worn especially to symbolise our Year 2 ‘stars’!

It’s Pre-Prep, now goodbye
With old friends and some new ones,
We spread our wings and fly!
We wish our Year 2 pupils the very best as they transition to Year 3.
