This week in Pre-Prep, we have been ‘getting to know each other’. During PSHE, each class took part in team building exercises. A particular favourite team building game was one whereby the children had to find their group members without talking. Each child had a coloured dot on their backs and the aim of the exercise was to figure out what colour dot they had without asking other children. The first team that arrived together (with the correct coloured dots on their back) won. As this was non-verbal game, the children needed to strategise with body language, which increased the team chemistry that the game set out to teach.

Here at Blue Coat, our teamwork environment promotes an atmosphere that fosters friendship and loyalty. It was wonderful to see the children begin to understand the value and importance of working as a team.
