It was a real joy to welcome everyone back to our first Chapel Services of the term! This is the first time we’ve gathered to sing in 18 months, so it was particularly special hearing the children joining in with hymns again, and listening to the new Year 6 Chapel Choir cohort singing their first anthem.
Chaplain announced that the theme for this term is ‘Love in Action’ and kicked off the service with a love-themed quiz for some of the teachers. Mr Matthews took the heart-shaped trophy, on behalf of Year 6, much to their delight. Whilst Miss Fiellateau ensured Year 3 were victorious in the Lower School battle! Chaplain unpacked what the Bible says about love, and set the children the task of putting love into action this term.
It was lovely to welcome parents back into School Hall, where we will be holding our services over the next few months. A reminder that all are welcome to attend on Fridays at 8.40am. Please check the calendar for further details.
