Tuesday evening demonstrated how important the House system remains to our Prep children. 100 girls from St Margaret’s and St Monica’s stayed in school for the first @bcshouses film night of the year. Donned in their House T Shirts, Mr Moss and his catering team did not disappoint with a movie-themed evening meal of Hot Dogs and Nachos. Popcorn was handed out and girls from all Prep year groups headed to the School Hall to watch the film that was voted for in recent House Assemblies.

While the Headmaster’s House Cup continues to provide that much loved competitive side of school life, it was an evening which proved the Houses play a much greater role in the lives of our pupils.  A big thank you to all staff who supported the event including Mr Dalzell, Miss Mockler, Miss Ryan and Mr Gilmore. Our House Heads, Mrs Walker and Mrs Redfern also enjoyed seeing their girls in full force and Mr Neeson was even seen singing along to the soundtrack!

Next week sees the turn of St Philip’s and St George’s and we are sure that another fun night is in store.
