After a successful film night for the girls last week, it was the turn of St Philip’s and St George’s to enjoy a similar experience on Tuesday. 120 boys from across Year 3 to Year 6 came together in the School Hall to watch a movie voted for in a recent House Assembly. Prior to the film, Mr Moss and his wonderful catering team put on a themed dinner and sent the children on their way with popcorn in hand.

The boys were excited to see House Mascots, Lenny the Lion and Digby the Dragon, in attendance and Mrs Stockton and Mr Hill were also there to support their boys. Mrs Stockton may have been spurring on her boys in search of a first Headmaster’s House Cup win of the term!

As always, evenings such as this can’t happen without the support of dedicated staff. Thank you to Miss Ryan, Mr Singh, Miss Akehurst, Mrs James, Mr Dalzell, Miss Mockler, Mr Moss and his fellow Holroyd Howe staff, Mrs West and Mr Neeson. And of course, our House Heads.

Talk of a Christmas Film Night has already begun at the end of the evening after two very successful events, so keep your eyes open for that …
