Nursery and Reception were the first to celebrate Harvest. They bravely sang their hearts out with a rendition of ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’, while Chaplain and her friend Rocky taught them a little bit about Harvest and what it means. Chaplain even managed to get some of the littlest children in our school performing at the front as she told the story of the feeding of the 5,000.
Rocky and Chaplain taught us all about the importance of Harvest for Christians and the wider community. We would like to thank each of you for coming along and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we all did.
Harvest is a very special and exciting time of the year. The children were inspired by the service and went back to the classrooms enthused to know more. The children have been learning about seasonal change, crops, produce and the importance of generosity. Huge thanks to all of the parents, carers and children for the donations you have given.
