Sporting some odd socks to symbolise and celebrate differences and our individual uniqueness, 5AG reminded us all about the power of ‘One Kind Word’ with their assembly as part of Anti Bullying Week. Short drama sketches demonstrated how easy it is to be unkind in our words and actions both in and out of school. However, the simple act of saying one kind word showed an alternative ending to each scenario spreading joy and happiness. Finishing with a polished performance of the worship song ‘Masterplan’ and it’s clear and simple message that ‘When I feel that life is tough, You speak to me with words of love’ this was a splendid way to start our school day. Well done everyone.
