Although we are bitterly disappointed to have to cancel the remaining events of this term, we were at least able to enjoy some wonderful Christmas music over the last week. Our Chapel Choir spread some festive cheer at the Royal Star and Garter Home for retired servicemen and women in Solihull. We were connected with the Home via a former pupil, Mike King, who previously served in the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada and comes from a military family. On Monday the Choir also sang at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. In freezing cold weather, they cheerfully persevered and sang in the open air to passing visitors and patients.
On Tuesday night the Prep Concert brought together musicians from across Years 3 to 6. It was lovely to see some staff members also taking part and to be joined by the Year 2 Fiddlesticks group.
Happy Christmas everyone!
