Once Upon a time…
On Tuesday 18th January, the Nursery children took part in their Fairy Tale Wow Day. The children wore some amazing costumes and they really got into the role of their characters. Each classroom celebrated a well-known traditional tale – Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Gingerbread Man and Jack and the Beanstalk.
With Mrs Reiner and Miss Smith, the children imagined that they were Goldilocks and tried different types of porridge. They discussed which was their favourite porridge and why. In Nursery H, Mrs Hall and Mrs Smith helped the children to become Jack and they each planted a magic bean which will hopefully grow at home! They also made salt dough Gingerbread Men with Miss Al-Dujaili and Mrs Houghton. Run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I am the salt dough man!
