Do you have a recipe fit for the Queen?

This summer, there will be celebrations to mark Her Majesty’s 70 years as Monarch. As part of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Fortnum & Mason have invited members of the public to invent the Jubilee Pudding. The winning pudding will be an important part of the celebrations and the creator of the winning pudding will be invited to be at the centre of the celebrations.

We are able to submit a BCS entry into this competition, so please read the following information carefully if you are interested in taking part.

Next Friday, 28th January, Mr Moss will be hosting another live ‘Cook-Along’ show at 5.30pm via Zoom. He will be inspiring BCS families to invent their own Jubilee Pudding.

On the weekend of Saturday 29 January/Sunday 30 January, BCS families can then have a go at inventing and creating their own Jubilee Pudding. Once this has been created, families should complete a recipe template using the our Google Form and upload a photo of their pudding to google drive. This all needs to be submitted by Monday 1 February at 10.00am.

Steamed or baked, layered or rolled, pie or crumble? All the entries received will be considered and one entry will be chosen to be submitted to the competition on 4th February to represent The Blue Coat School!
