Year 6 have really made an amazing effort for their Creative Arts enrichment homework this week. They were asked to make a shoebox model of a WW1 trench. The results have been superb, they have really imagined what a WW1 trench would be like and included a lot of detail right down to the rats, the mud and the barbed wire!
There has been no end to their creativity; they have used lollipop sticks, matchsticks, sand, teabags, stones, wire, plastic soldiers and a lot of brown paint. Some trenches have lights and explosions too. Their enthusiasm, imagination and work have really brought history to life.
Well done troops.
