The Pre-Prep Eco Committee have been busy preparing resources for us to take part in this year’s RSPB Big Schools Bird Watch. The bird watch is scheduled nationally to take place this Friday. As we are not able to do this in school due to INSET, the Eco Committee came up with a plan to make this week a Big School Garden Watch! During the week, each class has learnt about the work the RSPB do and why the bird watch is vital for them to continue to look after our bird life.
Each child in Pre Prep will have come home this week with a poster prepared by the committee members detailing the event. The Eco members would like to offer you at home the opportunity to join in with a little competition! As well as completing the checklist of what you are lucky to spot in your garden, why not take some photos too? The Eco Committee will judge these photos at their next meeting and select a group of winners who will receive a small prize to acknowledge their efforts.
