With a new theme for the term, 5KF were the first to deliver a class assembly this term and introduced the Upper School in Prep to some of the characters from the Book of Esther.
They shared the opening part of Esther’s story, which involved meeting King Xerxes, a fashion parade, a beauty pageant and the crowning of a new queen! The Book of Esther tells us the story of how a young woman, who was incredibly brave, used her voice to speak out and stand up for her culture and her traditions.
This term we are celebrating our differences, our cultures and our traditions. Mrs Newman is also busy putting together a day of celebration to mark international mother language day – look out for more news to follow.
A fantastic performance by all the children in 5KF. They delivered their lines impeccably, acted brilliantly and did themselves proud. Well done!
