Last weekend many of the children in Pre-Prep enjoyed taking part in the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch. We had lots of returned bird spotting sheets which have been used to inform the RSPB which species of birds are prevalent in our local area. Some great photographs were also taken and shared with us. It was lovely to see the children so engaged and happy to join in.
It was a very tough decision, but we decided that photographs from Annalise in Year 2 and William in Nursery should win the prize. Each of them were presented by members of the Pre-Prep Eco-Committee with their own bird box which they can paint and put in their gardens to encourage more wildlife in the future.
