For one or two children to be awarded a place is an an achievement but to be sharing the news that a magnificent seven Year 6 pupils have been accepted into the National Children’s Orchestra is stratospheric! A clear testament to the extraordinary standard of musical talent in Year 6 at The Blue Coat School. Mr Nicklin is bursting with pride.
In addition to this we have had a wonderful Year 5 and 6 recital this week and the level of interest and accomplishment of our Year 2 musicians applying for music scholarships this year has also gone through the roof – all bodes well for exciting times for the BCS Music Department.
