The children in Year 1 enjoyed an exciting curriculum enrichment day earlier this week. The focus of the day was Africa and was inspired by one of the key texts that we have studied in English over the past half term, ‘Lila and the Secret of Rain’.
As well as learning more information about the continent, the children took part in a range of activities including making a djembe drum, designing colourful masks and creating beautiful African sunset collages. A super day was had by all!
