2NW’s class assembly was based around the story of The Good Samaritan and the saying ‘If you can be anything in this world, be kind’. The children talked about the jobs they thought they might want to do when they are older but decided as that was quite a way off, the most important job they have at the moment is to be kind to others, at home and at school.
The Good Samaritan story reminded all of the children that we need to be kind to everyone we meet and not just our friends. The children performed brilliantly for the rest of Year 2 and enjoyed sharing this important message with their friends.
