At The Blue Coat School we know that excellent curriculum design and delivery leads to an excellent education for our pupils.
To encompass the values, beliefs, goals and purpose of the School Vision Statement, Limitless Learning for Tomorrow’s Achievers, each subject now has a Subject Vision Statement. These Subject Vision Statements endorse a philosophy of teaching and learning, and a continued commitment to Excellence in Action: they are the words that the Heads of Department and Subject Leaders use to encapsulate their subjects’ purpose and direction.
On Friday 1st April, a Subject Vision launch event was attended by all BCS staff. Subject Vision Statements were showcased and all of the academic staff further invested in a shared ideology: Limitless Learning for Tomorrow’s Achievers. The launch event, complemented by the culinary skills of Mr Moss and his catering team, was a resounding success, concluding the Lent term with a celebration of the staff’s hard work and unwavering dedication.
The Academic Team will always strive to maintain and improve the school’s excellent reputation, and high standards of teaching and learning, to ensure that pupils at BCS have access to an outstanding education with integrity.
