LINKS WITH VISITING SCHOOLS
2018 saw the launch of our BCS Experience Days – an enrichment programme, based on a range of subjects, designed to inspire and enthuse pupils from our neighbouring schools. Our current Experiences include Modern Foreign Languages, Forest School, Multi-Media, Creative Arts, History and STEM. Since then we have welcomed 120 children from six Birmingham schools to participate in a range of different activities.
Our aim is to give local Key Stage 2 children the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities in specialist areas of learning in a fun, memorable and varied way. The Experience Days take place at The Blue Coat School in Harborne. Each Experience Day is free of charge, lunch is provided and we may be able to collect and return pupils at the start and the end of the day. Places available for each Experience will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

LINKS WITH COMMUNITY GROUPS
The Blue Coat School is a proud sponsor of the Bournville BookFest. Last year we sponsored and hosted the finale of the event in Harborne and welcomed over 2,000 visitors on site.
We are delighted to support the NCT West Midlands Branch and host their Nearly New Sale twice a year.
