Please note that many of our fixtures this week were cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

U10 Rugby v Warwick

In tough, cold, and rainy conditions, the U10s played five fiercely contested games against Warwick, showing significant growth in tackling and rucking. The team’s defensive efforts improved with confident, low tackles and aggressive rucking, leading to key turnovers. Despite challenging weather, they displayed resilience, teamwork, and effective communication, pushing Warwick hard in the all matches. The teachers were thrilled with their development under pressure.

U10 & U11 Swimming v Balsall Common

The Blue Coat swimmers were put to the test this week against Balsall Common. In a highly competitive and skilled gala, every swimmer gave 100% and showed their talents over 50m or 100m in some races. Most races were so close to call, but extra work in squad sessions to give more in the final 5m metres allowed Blue Coat to take victory in a number of races.

Each swimmer had to adapt and it was fantastic to see an number of them overtaking personal best’s even without the advantage of a dive. Mr Brookes and Mr Moore were incredibly proud of the efforts of each swimmer, who should also take pride in their performance.
