U9 Football v Warwick Junior School 

Our U9 teams played four highly competitive and closely contested matches against Warwick Junior School, demonstrating significant improvement in positional play and spatial awareness. Every pupil contributed with great energy, teamwork, and determination. The matches were tightly balanced, with strong defensive discipline and creative attacking play on display. Players showed excellent decision-making, quick passing, and resilience throughout. It was fantastic to see their confidence grow, leading to well-worked goals and solid defensive performances. A great effort from all involved, reflecting their hard work in training. Well done, team!

 

U9 Netball v Eversfield

Our U9 teams played two exciting 5-a-side matches against Eversfield, securing one win and one loss. Facing a mixed-gender opposition, our girls were initially a little hesitant. However, once they focused on quick passing and getting in front of their defenders, they moved the ball well and created great opportunities in the D. Their teamwork and determination paid off with a well-earned victory in one match, while the other was a closely contested battle. Both teams showed fantastic effort, improving their confidence and skills throughout. A great learning experience and a proud performance from all!

U10 Netball v Eversfield

The final match of the season for the U10s saw BCS take on Eversfield in what turned out to be a competitive yet commanding display of netball from BCS. The game was full of energy, enthusiasm, and skill, making it a thrilling finish to an exciting season.

From the very first whistle, BCS showed their dominance, with quick passing and sharp shooting. The team moved with precision, showcasing excellent teamwork and tactical awareness. Their defense was impenetrable, with Eversfield struggling to break through BCS’ strong defensive line, led by standout performances in the defensive circle.

While Eversfield fought hard and gave their best efforts, BCS’ attacking play proved too strong. The shooters were clinical in front of goal, converting opportunities with confidence, and their midcourt players kept the game flowing smoothly with precise passes. Eversfield did well to challenge BCS, especially in the early stages, but as the game progressed, BCS’ superior fitness and teamwork started to show. By halftime, BCS had already established a solid lead, and they continued to build on it after the break. The final score saw BCS comfortably on top, with a well-deserved victory that reflected their hard work and preparation throughout the season. While Eversfield gave a spirited performance, it was BCS who took the win, finishing the season on a high note.

 

U8 Netball v Warwick

The U8 girls’ netball team enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of exciting 5-a-side action in their match against Warwick. Both teams displayed excellent energy and sportsmanship throughout the game. Over the past 12 weeks, the girls at BCS have shown impressive growth, showcasing significant progress in their skills and teamwork. Their determination and enthusiasm were evident as they worked together to create scoring opportunities and defend with confidence. The match was filled with thrilling moments and a competitive spirit, with both teams giving their best on the court. While the final score was secondary to the fun and experience, it was clear that the BCS girls have developed well and are building a strong foundation for future success. With the progress they’ve made, the team is showing great potential for the seasons ahead. It’s an exciting time for the girls, and the future of BCS netball is certainly bright!

 

U11 Netball v Eversfield 

The U11 girls put on a fantastic display of skill and teamwork in their matches against Eversfield, securing well-deserved victories for both teams. From the first whistle, they showed excellent movement, accurate passing, and strong defensive play, demonstrating significant dominance in both skill and ability.

It was great to see the progress each player has made, with improved decision-making and confidence on the court. Their determination and teamwork were evident throughout, leading to some brilliant attacking plays and well-executed goals.

At half-time, we were trailing, but the team didn’t give up—fighting back to secure a well-earned draw on one court and an exciting victory on the other. It was wonderful to see the players enjoying themselves, developing their skills, and embracing the fun of netball. Well done to all involved!
