U11 Cricket v Warwickshire CCC

In a closely contested encounter, our U11s faced Warwickshire U10s and narrowly lost by 4 wickets with two overs remaining.

Batting first, we posted 96 runs from our allotted 20 overs. A positive start from openers, Jovan and Kavidh, set the tone early, rotating the strike well and punishing loose deliveries. Archie anchored the innings with a composed top score of 27, showing maturity under pressure as wickets fell around him.

Defending a modest total, our bowlers came out firing. Kavidh struck early, supported well by Zayaan and Arya-Veer, who both bowled with excellent control and consistency. Their efforts reduced Warwickshire to a precarious position early in the chase.

However, despite our bowlers’ disciplined spells and sharp fielding, Warwickshire’s middle order steadied their innings and guided them home with four wickets in hand and two overs to spare.

A spirited performance from our U11s with plenty of positives to build on moving forward.
