On Thursday afternoon, the U8 teams participated in four friendly matches against Solihull Prep School. Emphasizing inclusivity and development, all players had the opportunity to showcase their skills across various positions. The games were characterized by enthusiastic play, teamwork, and sportsmanship. While no scores were recorded, the focus remained on fostering a love for the game and encouraging personal growth among the young athletes. Both teams demonstrated commendable effort and enthusiasm, reflecting the core values of youth football development.
U8 Netball Festival v Bromsgrove
The U8 girls had an exciting and fun-filled first netball festival, playing against Bromsgrove. The team showed fantastic enthusiasm and energy throughout the match. Despite being new to the game, the girls demonstrated a solid understanding of their positions on the court, working well together as a team.They showcased their passing skills and made some excellent moves, which allowed them to stay connected and maintain possession of the ball. The teamwork and communication were impressive, with each player supporting one another and looking for opportunities to pass and move into space.
