U10 Cricket v West House

On the 24 June, the U10s took on West House in 2 brilliant fixtures. The hardball game was “proper” out your out cricket! Reuben and Dara opened the batting and started well until Dara was unfortunately ran out. Adam and Reuben batted well repelling some good West House bowling before Adam nicked one to the keeper and showed great sportsmanship by walking. Henry played a beautiful straight drive before missing a straight one! The saviour of the side was the calypso king Nyre who swung freely to score an impressive 20 not out and set a formidable 102. West House showed promise but the accurate bowling of all the bowlers meant they were never really up with the rate and it was great to see Ree and Anai get wickets which they thoroughly deserved. West House finished about 30 short which was a fine performance against a strong side, well done all.
