We are so proud that the Creative Arts department are able to enter some amazing artworks for the Platinum Jubilee ‘Rivers of Hope’ art competition. The pupils have been  exploring the theme of rivers through a variety of mixed media. Thanks to everyone who has worked independently using whatever recycled and natural materials they could find. Everyone has  worked independently and made excellent use of scrap paper, wrapping and packaging,  newspaper, leaves, tree bark, plant stems, pebbles etc, great work Blue Coats.

We have some beautiful images of rivers, riverside trees, riverside wildlife, plants, insects as well as animals that live in, or around a river.

The work has mainly taken the form of collage and 3D relief.

Congratulations to all the pupils from years 3- 6 who have made such exciting and vibrant entries for the competition. Good to all of you and keep your fingers crossed!Â
