Nurturing a Spirit of fun, adventure and curiosity

Throughout their time in Prep, the children tackle a range of exhilarating outdoor activities and develop teamwork and leadership skills on residential trips. From night-walks to songs around the campfire; from the zip-wire to shelter building; first-aid to ‘Bushcraft does Bake-Off’; these adventures offer the chance to try something new and make the most of the outdoors. Modern Foreign Languages’ studies culminate in a visit to France for Year 6 pupils.

Over the last 2 years we have not been able to go off-site for our usual trips but when the lockdown relaxed we were able to give the children an outdoor experience using our facilities at school. You will see that our Forest School was an ideal place to ‘get back to nature’ and learn bushcraft skills and enjoy outdoor craft and wide games.

Year 6 also enjoyed their own special Enrichment Week before moving on to senior school.
