Planet Omar: Incredible Rescue Mission by Zanib Mian – Review by Mishika (3RB)

This book is called Planet Omar: Incredible Rescue Mission. It is about a mysterious boy called Omar.

I like that it has a happy ending and this book is absolutely amazing. I especially liked the section where he speaks in Urdu because it is similar to Hindi.

I would recommend that you should definitely read this because you will enjoy it like I have.

The Midnight Unicorn by Alice Hemming – Review by Sophia (4SB)

This book is about two sisters, who are very different, that grew up in different parts of the Kingdom, yet something drew the two girls together. Their uncle killed their mother so when they come together they set off to their uncle’s castle and managed to overthrow him off the throne.

I like how the author made the reader think, what is going to happen next or what is Bramble going to do next?

I would recommend it to someone who likes adventure and mystery stories.Thank you for reading my book review.

Scarlet and Ivy: The Dance in the Dark by Sophie Cleverly – Review by Emily (5EW)

This a spine chilling tale in a series about two twins who go to a school where nothing is as it seems. Strange things keep on happening like horses being set loose and the twins have a strange theory that their old evil headmistress is behind them.

I loved every bit of this book but my favourite bit is definitely the end of the chapter where it says, Miss Fox is back. No more spoilers though!

I would recommend this to people who like adventure and mystery stories and even if you don’t like that type of book, I am sure you will love this one!

Hacker by Malorie Blackman – Review by Arya (6JW)

It’s about a girl who has amazing hacking skills for her age and has gotten into trouble or at least one of her parents has for something they haven’t done and it’s very serious, a lot of money has come out of her parents job account MILLIONS of pounds. They were suspicious about a person very close to them, but I won’t say who! That’s for you to find out! The children are determined to make this right! But do they succeed?

What I like is that the children become detectives and also they are determined. What I don’t like is that they talk about how the girl was adopted.

I would recommend this book to everyone but especially to people who like detective cases or even family drama.
