Ree and Zach Represent Mercia at National Prep Schools Athletics Championships

While celebrations were taking place at School for the Headmaster’s birthday today, Ree and Zach were proudly representing Mercia at the National Prep Schools Athletics Championships, held at the Alexander Stadium.

Both pupils delivered fantastic performances on the national stage. Ree achieved personal bests in both her 75m and 150m heats. Although she narrowly missed out on a place in the finals, her performances were a superb achievement and a testament to her hard work and determination.

Zach also had an outstanding day, qualifying for the finals in both the 75m and 150m events. He went on to finish 5th nationally in the 75m, achieving a personal best, and 4th nationally in the 150m final.

It was also wonderful to see so many Blue Coat alumni representing the region, highlighting the continued strength of our athletics pathway and the talent nurtured within the School.

Congratulations to both Ree and Zach on their fantastic achievements and for representing Mercia so brilliantly.
