U9 Netball v WinterfoldÂ
Players of the Match: Tanvi, Aoife and Izzy
Result: 1 win, 2 losses
It was a great afternoon of netball for our U9 teams as they took on Winterfold, with plenty of energy, teamwork, and smiles all round.
Amrita’s teams played superbly, showing excellent movement into space and linking passes beautifully down the court. They dominated from start to finish, keeping possession well and finishing confidently in the circle to secure a well-deserved win.
Georgia’s team put in a determined performance but found it tough against strong opposition. At times, they struggled to move into space, which made it harder to maintain possession. However, they never gave up and showed real effort and sportsmanship throughout. The team will focus on improving their movement off the ball in training.
Zainab’s team also saw great enthusiasm and teamwork, even though the result didn’t go our way. The players worked hard on their defence, learning the importance of marking their opposite player closely. By the end of the game, their improvement was clear, showing great promise for future matches.
All teams represented the school brilliantly, played with smiles on their faces, and supported one another throughout – a fantastic afternoon of netball!
