U9 Football v RGS: The Grange

The U9 football teams played against RGS: The Grange in five 7-a-side matches, ensuring all pupils had valuable game time. The focus was on enjoyment, teamwork, and skill development rather than results. Players showcased great enthusiasm and determination throughout. There were moments of excellent attacking play, solid defending, and impressive goalkeeping. Sportsmanship was evident as both teams displayed respect and encouragement. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to gain match experience and grow in confidence. Well done to all involved for their effort and positive attitude!

 

U9 Netball v RGS

The U9 netball team played an exciting and dynamic match against RGS, with great teamwork and skill on full display throughout. The game was played in a fast-paced 5-a-side format, with players rotating positions to ensure everyone had the opportunity to experience different roles on the court. Overall, it was an impressive display from the U9 team, with two well-earned wins. The girls got better driving forward to receive the ball but to improve we need to hold our space and time our runs better. An excellent performance, well done girls.

 

U11 Netball v Warwick

This Wednesday, the U11 girls travelled to Warwick. We played 5 a side netball, rotating through the different positions. All four matches demonstrated some outstanding netball. The girls are able to play a variety of positions confidently and work effectively as a team. It was fantastic to watch these girls play some high quality netball, as always a pleasure you take you on a fixture.

U10 Football v Warwick 

The team came up against a formidable Warwick side on Monday who played some very nice football. That said the boys’ heads never went down and they showed tremendous fighting spirit. It was a good lesson in how to keep the ball, and accept at times you have to be willing to go backwards to go forwards which Warwick did exceptionally.

U8 Football v Warwick

The U8 football fixture against Warwick Junior School saw all Year 3 pupils participate in a series of eight 5-a-side matches. The event was played in great spirit, with enthusiasm and teamwork on display throughout. Players showed impressive dribbling, passing, and defensive skills, creating a competitive yet friendly atmosphere. The matches were evenly contested, with plenty of goals and some excellent saves. Regardless of the scorelines, the focus remained on enjoyment, sportsmanship, and development. A fantastic afternoon of football, with every player contributing positively to their team. Well done to all involved!
